What this site does not do

This is a static website. It sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics or visitor tracking, and embeds no advertising. Its typefaces are served from this domain, not from Google or any other font service. Nothing you do here is profiled, and nothing is sold or shared for marketing.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., San Francisco, with a European establishment in Cloudflare Portugal / Ireland) from its content delivery network. Like every web server, Cloudflare processes technical data about each request (your IP address, browser, the page requested and the time) to deliver the page and to defend the site against abuse. This is done on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, working website). Cloudflare's own statement on how it handles this data is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

The contact forms

If you write through the form on the home page, or through the Vocal Studio page's form (including a request for a lesson time), the name, email address, subject, message and, where you chose one, the lesson time you enter are sent as an email to Nicholas Tamagna so that your enquiry can be answered. The message is delivered through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, Paris, France, with servers in the European Union) acting as a transactional email service. Nothing you enter is stored on this site: there is no database and no log of what visitors write. The email exists in the recipient's mailbox for as long as the correspondence requires. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, answering your request, and your consent to the sending, which the form asks for.

The form is protected against automated abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile runs in your browser when the form is shown, and may process technical characteristics of your browser and connection to tell a person from a script, without showing you a puzzle. It does not identify you and does not track you across sites.

Embedded content and outbound links

The Vocal Studio page embeds one video from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). The player loads from Google when that page is opened; Google's handling of that request is described in its own privacy policy. The schedule links to the ticket pages of the theatres concerned, and the recordings link to streaming services. Those sites are responsible for what they do once you arrive.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask what personal data is held about you, have it corrected or deleted, have its processing restricted, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and lodge a complaint with a data-protection supervisory authority. For any of these, write to [email protected].
