About the Founder

Traveling Troubadour was founded by Nicholas Tamagna, an internationally acclaimed countertenor who has performed on stages from the Metropolitan Opera to the baroque festivals and regional houses of Europe. After more than 15 years of building and maintaining his own digital presence—and helping fellow artists along the way—Nicholas formalized what had long been a passion project into a dedicated design practice.

This dual career is the heart of what makes Traveling Troubadour different. Nicholas understands the performing arts not as an outsider looking in, but as someone who has lived it: the audition cycles, the last-minute program changes, the need to communicate with presenters in Berlin and San Francisco simultaneously, the importance of a press photo that loads beautifully on a casting director's phone. Every design decision is informed by real experience navigating this industry.
